HOMESCHOOL PARENTS:

Learning doesn't need to be compelled.
It needs to be CULTIVATED.

You want something better for your child. It's why you chose homeschooling.

Let's work together to move beyond school-shaped thinking and design learning around their child’s real interests, motivations, and needs.

You're in the right place if...

  • “You’ve left the school system, but it’s still living rent-free in your head.”

  • “You want your child to be happy and capable — but you’re not sure what that really means anymore.”

  • “You don’t want to replicate school at home, but you also don’t want chaos.”

  • “You know your role has to change… you’re just not sure how.”

The CULTIVATE Revolution

Career paths are no longer standardized and linear. Why should education be?

This essay will help you understand how the education system has stayed behind in the Industrial Era and is failing to prepare children for careers and lives in the modern age. It will also help you understand how we can prepare an education path for our children that more closely aligns with what modern science tells us about success and happiness.

Start by releasing school-shaped thinking.

Clearing the Ground is a guided email experience designed to help you gently uproot school-shaped assumptions that quietly undermine learning at home.

Before you plan, teach, or “fix” anything, this series helps you make space—so trust, curiosity, and real learning can take root.

Translate your insights into a practical rhythm.

Most homeschool plans start with a curriculum. This one starts with your child.

The CULTIVATE Kickstart is a free 5-day mini challenge designed to help you craft a personalized homeschool plan rooted in your child's unique needs, strengths, and sparks.

The CULTIVATE Learning Guide

The CULTIVATE Learning Guide is a practical introduction to designing learning without school-shaped constraints. It helps you translate big ideas—like non-linear learning, intrinsic motivation, and personalization—into a flexible, humane approach you can actually use.

The Seedling Journal

The Seedling Journal helps you slow down and observe the small but powerful clues your child offers through play, curiosity, and everyday moments. With gentle prompts and space to reflect, this guided workbook supports you in uncovering what motivates your child from the inside out—so you can nurture their learning in a way that truly fits.

On the CULTIVATE Blog:

Most education systems are designed to produce compliance and predictability, not curiosity, confidence, or real understanding. When we try to recreate those systems at home, even with the best intentions, we often carry the same assumptions with us.

Over time, I became convinced that the problem wasn’t parents, motivation, or discipline. It was the model itself. Learning doesn’t actually work the way school teaches us it does, and when we force it to, we end up creating anxiety, burnout, and a constant sense of “falling behind.”

My interest in this began long before CULTIVATE had a name. As a parent and educator, I watched bright, curious children disengage when learning was reduced to checklists, benchmarks, and externally imposed goals. At the same time, I saw those same children come alive when learning followed their interests, questions, and internal motivation. I started studying the science of learning, motivation, and development. And just as importantly, I began paying closer attention to what was happening right in front of me.

Over the years, I’ve worked with families navigating deschooling, self-directed learning, and personalized education, helping them make sense of learning that doesn’t look like school, but is no less real. I’ve developed frameworks, guides, and reflective tools that help parents observe learning, build confidence, and design education around the actual child in front of them.

That work eventually became CULTIVATE: a philosophy and process rooted in the idea that learning is organic, non-linear, and deeply individual. Instead of roadmaps and rigid plans, CULTIVATE offers a way to clear school-shaped thinking, redefine what success really means, shift from teacher to guide, and design learning that grows and adapts over time.

I help homeschooling parents who don’t want a better curriculum, they want a better way of seeing learning. Parents who are thoughtful, values-driven, and willing to question the system, but who still want clarity, confidence, and structure without rigidity. CULTIVATE isn’t about doing more or trying harder. It’s about building a path that fits, so learning can take root naturally and grow.
